 Gerard is managing director and co-founder of
ProSensa.
He is trained as a molecular biologist, joined
several
start-up companies among which Pharming
in 1989 as one
of the founding scientific crew.
Since then, he has held
different management positions
and has over 18 years of
experience in the field of
biotechnology. He managed
several research projects
and established an extensive
network within the
biotechnology community.
Gerard is the recipient of the Ernst and Young award for
the best business plan in 2000. Gerard founded, together
with Prof. Herman de Boer
ProSensa four years ago. Gerard is responsible for
general management, including investor relations.
